I am very proud to be the Founder & CEO of Yielding Accomplished African Women (Yaa.W). Yaa.W is named after and in the spirit of Yaa Asantewaa, a Ghanaian feminist heroine, Queen mother and warrior. We are a globally recognized nonprofit. Our work has been featured by MTV, Google, The Malala Fund, Face2Face Africa, Blavity, The Late Afternoon Show with Berla Mundi and many more.

The Our Girl, Our Future Finance and Technology Accelerator is a unique opportunity for second and third year female college students to build a solid foundation in the wide world of professional services. Upon completion, all participants are guaranteed a first-round interview with one of our sponsoring companies such as Bank of America, PwC, Microsoft, Makedu Consult and many more. I believe this vision is necessary, significant and has the potential to revolutionize the face of technology and finance in Africa.

We hope to provide transformative career opportunities to young college women in Africa by providing them with skills in finance or technology, mentorship, and leadership development that will lead them to land internships at top firms in Africa.
